Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has thanked Wycombe Wanderers after the club agreed to give free meals to school children this half-term.
The England forward tweeted ‘thank you @wwfcofficial’, on the social media site, 12 hours after scoring a 16-minute hat-trick for the Red Devils in their Champions League match against RB Leipzig at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old, who turns 23 on October 31, has aimed to try and end child poverty in the UK.
This comes after the Government rejected the notion of giving school children free meals during the holidays.

Following the news, many businesses across the country have clubbed together to help feed school children, which includes Wycombe Wanderers, as they will be giving hot meals to the youngsters at Adams Park on Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30.
Wycombe’s David Wheeler initiated the project.
If you would like to get a free meal at the club’s stadium, they will be available to get between 12pm and 2pm.
