Matt Bloomfield has praised several of the Derby players following their 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Wycombe were losing 1-0 before the captain scored the equaliser against Wayne Rooney’s team on 81 minutes.
The skipper was also pleased with Adebayo Akinfenwa's performance, as the forward played a huge part in Wycombe's goal.
He said: "It is a tough league with some really good teams and even though Derby have been struggling this year, they have got some really good footballers.
"Martyn Waghorn, Colin Kazim-Richards, Tom Lawrence, some really good players so when we were 1-0 down at half-time, we had nothing to lose.
"The big man [Akinfenwa] is going to change any game and the power that he has over opposition is incredible – I have never seen anything like it.
"Him coming on at half-time was a massive for us and it was great for him to come on.

"Him playing three games in a week was always a tough ask and he came on, it changed the game and it swung in our favour.
"I thought there was only going to be one team that was going to score and win it in the second-half."
