Nottingham Forest manager Chris Hughton has praised Gareth Ainsworth ahead of today's match.

Forest travel to Adams Park for the first time since August 2011 with Wanderers and the Reds in need of points to stay in the Championship.

Wycombe are currently bottom with 16 points whilst Forest are 13 points ahead and are in 19th place.

But as we have seen so far this campaign, points can be taken off by anyone regardless of league position and form, and the former Birmingham City, Newcastle United, and Norwich City manager will not be taking Wycombe likely.

In the return match back in November, Forest won 2-0 at the City Ground with Lyle Taylor bagging a brace.

Speaking to the club’s website, Hughton said: "What you need when you play Wycombe is complete commitment and the right attitude because they will always give it everything and you need to make sure you match that.

“To say they are simply a direct side is doing them an injustice because they have some quality players in their team and results this season have shown that.

“At home, they've held teams like Watford, Brentford and most recently Birmingham so they enjoy playing on their own turf.

"Gareth has done a magnificent job there and he is someone who is heavily involved with the League Managers' Association, so it's great to see him doing so well.

“Wycombe's rise through the leagues has been tremendous and although their resources mean they have found this season difficult, they are still a very competitive side who will battle for every single ball and make life extremely tough for us.”

Nottingham Forest were Wycombe’s first ever opponents at Adams Park in 1990.
