Wycombe legend Joe Jacobson believes his side showed ‘great spirit’ despite the Chairboys’ 2-1 away loss against Cardiff.

The left-back, who started his career with the Welsh side, scored against his boyhood club in the defeat with a penalty, which has all-but relegated Wanderers back down to League One, on the basis a miracle is performed in the next two weeks.

Up next for Wycombe are Bournemouth at home and Middlesbrough away.
