Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed that several players will leave the club when their contracts expire this summer.

And following their 3-0 away victory against Middlesbrough on the final day of the season, several players will now leave the club.

One of those players includes goalkeeper Ryan Allsop.

Rocky, who was in his second stint with the Adams Park outfit, started every game for Wanderers this season until David Stockdale gained the number one spot in mid-February.

He also had a spell at the club during the 2015/16 season.

Overall, Allsop played 129 games for the club, which included 99 league matches between 2018 and 2021.

His last game for the club was the 2-1 home loss against Derby County, when the Rams' Andre Wisdom scored an injury-time winner. 

Fellow goalkeeper Cameron Yates, American Giles Phillips, who spent the season with Non-League Aldershot Town, Andron Georgiou, who signed for Wanderers last autumn, and Darius Charles, who hasn’t played since the 7-2 loss against Brentford in January, will also depart.

The players who will be released

Loan signings in Josh Knight, Admiral Muskwe and Dennis Adeniran have returned to their parent clubs in Leicester City and Everton respectively, whilst Nnamdi Ofoborh, who re-signed for Wycombe in January from Bournemouth following his successful loan last season (2019/20), will join Rangers.

He signed a pre-contract agreement with the Scottish champions at the start of the year.

Ofoborh played eight times for Wanderers this season.

Despite the departures, Wanderers have exercised the option to extend the contracts of goalkeeper Curtis Anderson, striker Anis Mehmeti and youth team player Malachi Linton for a further year, whilst former Chelsea youngster James Clark has signed for an extra six months.

The club also revealed that they are still in discussions with other players, which includes Adebayo Akinfenwa, whose contract expires this summer.

There are also rumours online that club captain, Matt Bloomfield, is expected to retire, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
