For the second time in two weeks, a Wycombe Wanderers XI which consisted of trialists took on a Non League side in a pre-season friendly.

The Chairboys, who drew 1-1 with Chesham United on Friday, July 9 at the Meadow, took on Aylesbury United at the same venue on July 23 in front of roughly 300 spectators.

Despite falling a goal behind to the Ducks, Wanderers came back to win 3-1.

Gareth Ainsworth was again in attendance at the Meadow.

Up next for Wanderers is Leicester City on Wednesday, July 28 and Hanwell Town on Friday, July 30.

The league season will start on Saturday, August 7 at home against Accrington Stanley.

Since 2017, Aylesbury United have groundshared with Chesham.
