It was Stockdale’s first appearance in this competition for two years and following the victory, it means the former Premier League keeper has now kept three clean sheets in his last four matches, going back to last season.
Up next for Wycombe in this competition is an away trip to Stevenage.
The tie will be played the week commencing August 23.
