Wycombe Wanderers Women Under 18s put last week’s defeat behind them as they smashed Tilehurst Panthers 4-0 on October 10.
Wanderers started strongly as Tilehurst needed to be alert due to the Chargirls’ attacking play, as Naomi Tilley hit her free-kick just over the bar in the first few moments of the first-half.

The Chairgirls continued to be on the front foot and in the 39th minute, they went 1-0 up as Jess Gomes switched play to Amelia Gilbert on the right-hand side who struck a great shot just inside the box over the keeper.
The lead was doubled two minutes later, as Ruby Paish gave it to Jorja Louise Bray who produced a lovely cross into the box for Gomes who got her goal.
The pendulum swung in the second period as Tilehurst had more of the ball, and due to an injury to Wanderers’ keeper, Gomes played some part of the second period between the sticks.

The away side peppered the goalscorer with shots but she was on hand to keep them at bay, with the visitors also missing a penalty.
This gave Wycombe the chance to seal the win, as Molly Carter got Wanderers’ third and Ruby Paish got the fourth.
Paish, along with Brooke Sanders, also played in goal during the second half.
