The FC Marlow express train to the Premier Division title rumbled on this week, as Naphill & Salters Ash were the latest team to be blown away in the top tier, by the seemingly untouchable side from Gossmore Lane.

A Biu Dinh Kevin Trieu hat-trick, alongside strikes from Billy Moore & Mark Slatter extended Marlow’s lead at the top by 2 points with a game in hand.

Marlow have a 100 per cent win ratio so far this season, having beaten Naphill, Jolly Sportsman, St Johns Sports & AFC Liberal in the league, as well as coming through their Sunday Cup game with Waterhall Stars. They face a tricky away fixture against AFC Aylesbury next week.

Premier Division

In other Premier Division results, a Conor Remsbury-Kelly brace fired REOC up to third place, with a 3-0 victory over St Johns Sports. Chris Hurst also notched for the home side, his sixth of the season.

Jolly Sportsman followed up their cup victory last week with an impressive 6-2 away win against Three Horseshoes thanks to doubles from Harry Wooster & Harry Loakes, & further strikes from Tom Burgin & Haydon Clack.

AFC Aylesbury vs Crendon House was a postponed fixture.

Division One

Goals were the order of the day in Division One, with Ridgeway Royals & Prestwood United serving up a tasty 4-4 draw. Prestwood threw away a 3-0 lead, as goals from Jonny Scarborough, Jordan Rogers, Darren Paul & Alfie Fleming salvaged a point for the home side.

Wycombe Athletic dismantled FC Lions 4-1 at Lane End playing fields in a game of two halves to move up to second in the table.

A strike from James Nwoseh, midway through the first half, sent Lions into the break 1-0 to the good, before Athletic emerged at the start of the second half like a team possessed to score four without reply and take all three points.

Harry Lunnon stepped off the bench to secure Denham United all three points, as they overcame the challenge of table toppers Wycombe Marsh at the Rye.

Marsh held a 100 per cent winning record in the League coming into the fixture, but found themselves 3-0 down, less than 15 minutes into the game through strikes from George Wakefield, George Owen & Tristan Ward.

Despite remarkably pulling it back to 3-3, Lunnon’s late goal consigned Marsh to defeat at the fifth attempt.

Division Two

Lane End have now become the bookies 2/1 favourites for the title, as they made it 6 wins from 6 in the league. Goals from Ashley Hanson & Marius Pilca edged out FC Beaconsfield Reserves 2-1 at Holtspur Rec.

Jordan Ajanlekoko replied for the home side.

Hazlemere Sports recorded a sensational 6-0 victory away at second-place Bucks Pumas. Sub Lloyd Majer hit two, Mets Njani, Mark Schmull, Curtis Woodroffe, & Mark Burnard also scored in the rout.

Real Saracens moved out of the relegation zone, with a 4-2 victory against Koda FC, picking up their first three points of the season in the process.

Shane Eccles stepped off the bench to hit a brace in WMCO United’s 3-2 win against United FC. Rhia Bushay also scored.

Division Three

Jonathan Cox fired Downley Albion to a 5-2 victory over FC Riverside with a superb hat-trick. A Mikey Martins double helped the league leaders pull 5 points clear at the top of the table.

AFC Wycombe moved up to second, with a 6-0 victory over Ridgeway Royals Reserves. Nicu-Lulian Voineag scored twice, alongside efforts from Adam Brook, Cosmin Olaru, Harry Goss, & Adrian Iusco.

Hambleden SSC recorded back-to-back victories with a hard fought 3-2 win against Horse & Jockey, thanks to goals from Oliver Lane (2), & Matthew Holden. Dominic Dodwell & Steve Harwood replied for H&J.

A Jake Williams brace was enough to give AFC Denham all 3 points as they beat bottom-of-the-league Thame United 2-1 at the Rye.

St Johns Sports Reserves vs Tetsworth Sundays was a postponed fixture.

Division Four

FC Marlow Royals moved back to the top of the table with a 5-2 victory over United for Dementia at Gossmore Lane.

Hazlemere Sports Wanderers failed to stick with Marlow, after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to in-form Seer Green.

Kane Bradding notched for the Reds.

Mill Lane AFC, the only unbeaten Division 4 side, steamrolled Maidenhead Rangers 4-0 at Barn Meadow, to keep up their impressive start to the season.

Bucks Buffalos hit Bourne End United for six, running out 6-1 to the good at the Rye, to move up to sixth in the table.

Holmer Green Rangers shades Wanderers FC 2-1 away to get their second victory of the season, thanks to goals from Jody Stotter & Todd Capstick.

Joseph O’Donovan scored for Wanderers.

Next week sees the second round of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Trophy, alongside a roster of League action.
