A popular YouTuber has expressed his disdain for the Chairboys after the Adams Park outfit defeated his beloved Plymouth Argyle 3-0 on Tuesday night.

Jack ‘Pie Face’ McDermott, who has over 500k subscribers and has amassed more than 63m views on the site, stated on Twitter that he ‘f*****g hates Wycombe Wanderers’, after the Chairboys produced a stunning performance against the League One highflyers on November 23 at Home Park.

Second half goals from Sam Vokes and a double from Anis Mehmeti succumbed the Devon-based side to their first home league defeat of the season, despite Ryan Lowe’s men going into the match as favourites, following a recent loss of form for the Chairboys.

The victory also means that Wycombe have leapfrogged Plymouth into the top two of the League One table, whilst also being unbeaten in their last eight away fixtures against the former Championship side.

And after revealing his utter hatred for Gareth Ainsworth’s men, many Wycombe fans decided to goad the internet star with much glee.

Craig Anderson replied back to the YouTuber and said: “Sorry Pie, love you lad, top streams, but Chairboys outclassed you guys. Till next time.”

The Wycombe Way responded with, ‘cheer up, Pie’, with many other users replying back with crying or laughing emojis.

Adam Cooper commented with, ‘smile, you should be used to losing to us by now,’ with @Alphtr0 adding, ‘Pie Face, what’s the score, Pie Face, Pie Face, what’s the score?’

Another response that also did the rounds was a tweet written by the Plymouth Argyle media team back in January 2016, when the Chairboys defeated the Green Army 1-0 at Home Park.

Gozie Ugwu got the winner that day and PAFC wrote at full-time: “Wycombe came here to waste time, niggle, and get under our skin.

"They did it and they won.

"See you next week.”

The two sides will meet again on April 15 next year, which will be the Good Friday fixture.
