Wycombe goalkeeper David Stockdale has revealed he was ‘proud’ of his teammates, as the Chairboys defeated Plymouth Argyle 3-0 on Tuesday night.
Three second half goals from Sam Vokes and an Anis Mehmeti brace sent Wycombe into the top two of the table.
It was also Wanderers’ seventh league clean sheet of the season and their second in two games.
What a result and performance from every single one of these in front. What a night. 👏🏻😎 https://t.co/sbnTrqok5R

Stockdale said: “I was so proud of the lads in front of me because they kept it away from me.
“So, it’s not a clean sheet for me as it’s a clean sheet for everyone including Sam Vokes and Brandon Hanlan, as they sacrificed themselves and I’m gutted for Brandon as I thought his goal was onside.
“For the work rate he puts in, and does everyone, but at the minute, he is everywhere.
24: Great save Stockdale! Hardie's quick feet deceives two defenders and he charges into the box, shoots on target, the keeper tips it wide and the referee somehow gives a goal-kick.

"Sometimes you need to sacrifice your own game to help others and that’s what we did.
“We demand and that’s the thing here.”
And on the Sheffield Wednesday game this weekend, he added: “Another game at a stadium that is known for its fortress-like effects.
“They’ll bring a lot, and we know what type of game it’ll be, but we’ll be confident as we know what we can do.”
