At the conclusion of Wycombe’s lunchtime match against Sunderland on January 8, some fans will be making a quick dash for the exits.

This isn’t because they want to beat the long wait out of Adams Park, it’s because a small group of Chairboys supporters are going to make the short 7.7 mile trip to Princes Risborough to watch another game of football.

One of the fans who has confirmed they will attend the Risborough fixture said: “As some of you may know, a group of us have recently been watching Risborough Rangers when we [Wycombe] haven’t had a Chairboys game to attend.

“It’s a great day out watching a very good local team and it’s also a good way of helping them out with funding etc.”

Several Wycombe fans have been spotted at several Non League games over the Christmas and New Year period, with supporters attending matches at Holmer Green, Aylesbury United, Marlow, Risborough and Chesham.
