It’s been six months since Wycombe Wanderers last won on a Saturday, and this weekend, they take on a Burton Albion team that are having a tough start to the season.
So what can we expect at Adams Park?
Lowdown on Wanderers
The midweek win over Leyton Orient gave the Chairboys a much-needed victory in what has been a tough start to the season.
Defeats against Exeter City and Lincoln City without scoring meant it was the first time in three years that Wanderers had started a league campaign with two losses from two with no goals.

The cup win over Milton Keynes repaired some of the damage, but a victory in the domestic league was needed and that cup on Tuesday in an entertaining game against Leyton Orient.
A double from Joe Low and a Dale Taylor finish gave the Chairboys a 3-2 win over the East London side who were also looking for their first win of the campaign.
As the saying goes, ‘winning breeds winning’ and Matt Bloomfield’s side will be hoping to make it to wins in a row for the first time since February.

Additionally, the last time Wanderers were victorious on a Saturday afternoon was on February 18 – a 1-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers in what would turn out to be Gareth Ainsworth's last match in charge.
Lowdown on Burton Albion
It’s been a very tough start for the Brewers.
They currently sit second bottom in the table and if it wasn’t for Wigan Athletic’s minus eight-point deduction, they would be the basement team of the division at this very early stage of the campaign.
They arrive at Adams Park with four defeats from four (three in the league and one in the cup) in which they have conceded seven times.
And things got worse for Albion during the week when goalkeeper Jamal Blackman (who was once of Wycombe), picked up an injury just 23 minutes into their loss at Shrewsbury Town.
