A Wycombe Wanderers podcast that was launched earlier this year has officially collaborated with the world’s largest radio station.

The Heroes of HP12, which was created by Chairboys fan Michael Kenny, is now part of the TalkSport network following a huge increase in listenership since its inception in March.

The weekly pod focuses on the topics surrounding Wycombe during that week, with the group’s X page (formerly known as Twitter), being a huge hit for Wanderers supporters.

The news was confirmed at the back last month.

In a series of X posts, they said: “The Heroes of HP12 is now a @talkSPORT podcast! Very excited to announce that we have joined the talkSPORT family.

“By joining forces with one of the UK's biggest football broadcasters we're looking to reach more fans than ever before.

“What does this mean? Good news first: we're not changing anything!

“The show will remain the same with new episodes dropping every week. The squad isn't going anywhere.

“Myself, Adam [Cooper], Dan [Clark] & Damo [Hockley] will still be on hand with match reviews, news, rants, and terrible dad jokes.

“Now the not-so-good news. Going forward our podcast will now contain ads.

“While they ultimately keep the lights on we know ads aren't loved by everyone, but we have a solution...

“Introducing Patreon!

“For a low monthly fee, you can listen to the podcast ad-free.

“We've also introduced additional tiers offering loads of exciting content and opportunities!

“We're not looking to profit from what we currently do.

“Not now, not ever.

“This is entirely a not-for-profit podcast.

“Any money raised by Patreon, talkSPORT's ads or future sponsorship will go towards covering production costs and equipment.

“Any remaining money will be donated to the club's charity arm, the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation.”
