Wycombe Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United U21 forward Gideon Kouda on loan for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old has scored seven goals in 17 appearances for the young Hammers side this campaign across all competitions, which includes bagging a strike against the Chairboys in the EFL Trophy on January 9.

Wanderers would go on to win the cup tie 2-1, with Kouda standing out for the East London team.

If he were to join this transfer window, he would be the second player to sign for the Adams Park side following the arrival of Richard Kone from Athletic Newham.

At the beginning of the window, manager Matt Bloomfield suggested he wanted to have more ‘creativity’ in his forward line.

This would indicate imminent departures for a handful of players.
