Marlow's teams enjoyed a successful weekend, securing crucial victories on the road with both sides winning by two goals to one.
The Women's team faced Trojans in Southampton on Saturday, aiming to halt the home side's pursuit of a third consecutive win.
The match began with an intense pace, as both teams created early chances.
Marlow's Lena Sykora had a shot saved by the Trojans' keeper, while the home side earned several penalty corners, which were expertly defended by Marlow's Alys Ramm.
The breakthrough for the away side came in the final five minutes of the first half.
A penalty corner was awarded, and Kerri Smith deftly deflected the ball into the net, giving Marlow a one-goal lead at the break.
They quickly doubled their advantage early in the second half, with captain Keira Allen finding the back of the net.
Despite the Trojans' spirited attempts to claw back into the game, buoyed by their home crowd, Marlow's defence held strong.
The home side was awarded a penalty stroke early in the final quarter, which they converted, narrowing the gap to one goal.
However, Marlow's resolute defence ensured they maintained their lead, securing a vital win.
Although they remain sixth in the league, this victory has opened a three-point gap above the teams below.
The reds will look to build on this success next week against bottom-placed Slough.
Meanwhile, the Men's team faced a challenging away trip to Ashmoor in Totnes, Devon.
After travelling on Saturday and staying overnight in Sidmouth, they began match day with a brisk seaside walk in the rain.
The match commenced in torrential conditions, but Marlow's spirits were high from the outset.
Jayden Zammler opened the scoring early by tapping in from close range, putting the away side ahead before Ashmoor equalised midway through the second quarter.
The match remained finely balanced at half-time.
In the second half, Marlow emerged as the stronger side, yet struggled to convert their chances until Cal White scored with just four minutes remaining, lifting the ball over the keeper.
This hard-fought victory marked Ashmoor's first home defeat of the season and propelled Marlow to third place in the West Conference table.
They will look to continue their winning streak next weekend against Isca in Exeter, completing their longest away trips before the Christmas break.
