Wycombe Wanderers right-back Fin Back is expected to depart the club ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Chairboys 12 months ago from Nottingham Forest, has only played 13 times for the Adams Park side in all competitions.

This has been due to the good form of captain Jack Grimmer, as well as suffering from several injuries.

According to transfer expert Peter O’Rourke, Back is expected to join Colchester United in League Two on a loan deal until the end of the season.

He hasn’t featured for the club since the 3-0 away win at Gillingham in the EFL Trophy.

The defender also played against the Us in the same competition back in September, which the Chairboys lost 2-1 at Adams Park, thanks to an 90th minute winner from captain Jack Tucker.

Transfer Deadline Day will conclude on Monday, February 2, at 7 pm.
