Former Wycombe Wanderers forward Richard Kone scored two goals in the space of 60 seconds as his new side, Queens Park Rangers, thrashed Portsmouth 6-1 at Loftus Road.

With the Hoops already 4-1 up going into the last five minutes, the Ivorian made it 5-1 on 86 minutes before getting his second from the penalty spot just seconds later.

The hosts raced into a three-goal lead inside 29 minutes through a Paul Smyth double, scored either side of a long-range effort from Rayan Kolli.

Portsmouth pulled one back before the break through John Swift, but Kolli struck again early in the second half before the former Chairboy bagged his brace.

Since leaving South Buckinghamshire for West London in August, Kone has scored 10 goals in 39 games.

The forward spent 18 months with Wycombe between January 2024 and August 2025, where he scored 25 goals in 74 matches.
