Wycombe Wanderers conceded two goals in the final 12 minutes as they drew 2-2 away at high-flying Cambridge United.
In the first meeting between the two sides in nearly two years, it was the Chairboys who started off the better of the two sides.
In the opening 10 minutes, Tom Hounsell’s side nearly took the lead through a Connor Taylor header, but the centre back headed over from close range.
Despite being a newly-promoted side, Cambridge went in the encounter in the play-off places with five wins from the opening 10 games.
But Wycombe were very much in the ascendency as they continued to put the Us on the back foot.
Crosses from each flank by Jack Grimmer and Fred Onyedimna on the right, and Anders Hagelskjær and Dan Harvie caused problems for the hosts, before the breakthrough for Wanderers was broken.
One minute before half-time, Onyedinma disposed Cambridge captain Kelland Watts on the byline.
He then fired in a low cross into the box, which was expertly touched on the turn by Jayden Wareham, who fired home his fourth goal for the Chairboys since joining from Exeter City.
The inform striker then got his second on the hour mark when he swept home from an Anders Hagelskjær cross.
However, Cambridge did not give up as with 12 minutes to go, Shayne Lavery headed home a Ben Knight cross.
They then rescued a point deep into stoppage time when Taylor, who had an excellent game at the Abbey, fired home past Hazard.
The result means Wycombe drop to 15th.
Up next for the Chairboys is AFC Wimbledon away on Saturday.
