CHALFONT St Peter’s reward for beating Selsey 2-0 in the fourth round of the FA Vase is a mammoth trip to Dunston Federation in Gateshead on January 17.

They set up the tie against the Northern League Division One side on January 17th and if they can win that one they will be just three matches away from Wembley.

Saints’ game on Saturday was held up for 25 minutes following a suspected dislocated knee to one of the visiting players.

But Saints finally made the breakthrough on 73 minutes when Terrell Lewis scored at the near post with a shot from an acute angle.

Having waited so long to get one, Saints needed just four more minutes to make the tie safe when Charlie Strutton scored with a magnificent effort from 30-yards which went in the bottom corner to leave the keeper with no chance
