HIGH Wycombe Hockey Club ended a two-month wait for a league win when they beat Lewes 4-1 on Saturday.
A first half hat-trick from Duncan Parnis and a goal from Sam Burroughs brought home the bacon as Wycombe recorded only their second league win of the season, and their first away from home, following their promotion to Premier League Division Two.
The result hoisted an improving Wycombe side, who have now suffered just one defeat in their last four outings, to third from bottom in the league table.
They play host to mid-table Ashford this weekend.
