QPR have recalled striker Angelo Balanta early from his loan at Wycombe Wanderers.
The deal was due to expire after Blues' St Valentine's Day match away at Bradford City.
But the Championship outfit have decided they need him back at Loftus Road before then and have triggered their recall notice to call him back early.
It is a blow to Blues boss Peter Taylor who had tried to extend the Colombian-born England U19 international's stay at Adams Park until the end of the season.
