LUKE Moore opened his Wycombe Wanderers goalscoring account in Saturdays 2-0 win over Bournemouth on the same day that his brother Stefan was opening the scoring for Aston Villa in their 2-0 win at Blackburn.

The brothers have been blazing a trail of glory for Villas reserve team but chose Saturday to make their mark on the first team stage.

And in another amazing family double the brothers both got booked as well with Luke, on a months loan from the Villains, getting his yellow card for over-celebrating his goal.

But nothing was going to spoil his day.

He said: Its been a great day. It was great to get my first league goal but the points are more important.

I got a bit carried away. It was my first league goal and I wanted to celebrate with the fans.

Moore, who is among a very rare breed of strikers in that he doesnt keep a tally of his goals, jumped at the opportunity of joining Wanderers on a months loan.

He said: The chance of working with Tony Adams was a massive factor. I wanted to get league experience and the chance to learn from someone like him was very important. He can tell me what defenders dont like. I have already learned a lot off him and I want to learn a lot more.

I just want to help Wycombe get up the table.

As well as his goal Moore showed plenty of good movement and deft running but Blues boss Tony Adams reckons fans havent seen anything of his true talent yet.

He said: Youve not seen the real Luke Moore yet.
