IAN Westlake’s bid to force his way back into Blues manager Gary Waddock’s plans have been halted by an ankle injury.
The former Leeds and Ipswich midfielder has only featured twice under Waddock and his chances of making an impression now have been derailed after a training ground knock.
He had an operation on Wednesday and will be ruled out for seven weeks at least.
