ALDERSHOT manager Kevin Dillon has slammed Wanderers' offer for midfielder Scott Donnelly as being derisory and said it was 'lower than a badger's arse.'

Speaking to the Bucks Free Press after his side's 1-1 draw with leaders Rochdale last night, Dillon said the Shots rejected Blues' bid out of hand.

Dillon said: "The bid that we got wouldn't buy you. It was as low as a badger's arse. It was derisory."

And he revealed that he is now hoping to tie Donnelly to a longer deal.

He said: "He is one I want to keep."

Donnelly's contract expires in the summer and Blues are expected to come back with a bigger bid before the January transfer window closes to test Aldershot's resolve further.
