WASPS hooker Rob Webber says the next sequence of games will be vital for their play-off ambitions.
Wasps play Sale on Sunday to kick-start a run of three home games in four.
Webber said: “If we can come out of the Six Nations period with a decent number of points then we’ll be in good stead for the final push.”
Webber has also defended the pack, which has been criticised after some performances this season.
He said: “It’s frustrating. Sometimes you go into games with pre-conceived conceptions about you as a pack, which can be hard to change no matter what you do.
“If you go well three or four weeks in a row then you’re a great pack. If you’re a bit stop start here and there.
“We just need to go strong all the time so people recognise us as a really strong pack, which I think we are.”
