Wasps 22, Sale 16
DANNY Cipriani was back to his best with the boot as Wasps saw off struggling Sale at Adams Park.
The fly-half kicked five penalties and converted the only try from the Men in Black after Ben Jacobs touched down in the first half.
His opposite number, and fellow England contender, Charlie Hodgson kicked eleven points of his own as Sale fought back from 10-6 down at the break.
But Wasps held on for the victory, which keeps them in fifth place in the Guinness Premiership table.
