IN-FORM Flackwell Heath notched their second cup win in the space of five days when they sent Bicester Town spinning out of the FA Vase on Saturday.

They followed up Tuesday's impressive 2-0 win over Brackley Town in the FA Cup with an emphatic 5-1 win to see off the challenge of Bicester in the Vase at Wilks Park.

Mark Xavier, whose two goals saw off Brackley, did it again with another brace while teenage winger Leigh Mason also struck twice for Byron Walton's side. Matt Glynn got the other in an emphatic win.

Elsewhere, Chesham United keeper Jamie Jackson saved a penalty as the Meadow Men moved up to fourth in the Southern League Premier Division with a 2-1 win at Hednesford Town.

Jackson stood firm to keep out Leon McSweeney's spot kick as Chesham survived a fierce late onslaught to take all three points.

Earlier Chesham took the lead through prolific goal machine John Lawford but their advantage was wiped out in the second half by the home side's Beckett.

But Gary Sippetts restored Chesham's lead with a fine header and United hung on to claim a big win thanks to Jackson's penalty save and the woodwork.

In Division One West, Marlow's eight-hour round trip to face league leaders Taunton looked as though it was going to be worthwhile until the 88th minute when Gary Fisher scrambled home a miss-hit winner to hand the hosts an unlikely victory.

Twice the table-toppers had to come from behind.

Robert Charles put Marlow ahead but the lead was cancelled out on 33 minutes by Richard French who brought the Somerset club back into it with his first strike for the club.

But Marlow regained the lead two minutes later with a goal direct from a free kick by player-boss Tim Cook.

But Fisher then got the first of his two goals to equalise before applying the killer touch late on to break Marlow's hearts before the long trip home.

Marlow entertain Bracknell Town tonight.

Marlow have now been leapfrogged in the table by Thame United.

Mark West's side were 3-0 winners at Cinderford United thanks to John Mitchell's brace which was sandwiched by Alex Stewart's goal.

Thame turn their attentions back to FA Cup action tonight when they hope to make it third time lucky against Great Yarmouth side Gorleston after the first match ended 3-3 and the second was abandoned because of floodlight failure.

Like Thame, Beaconsfield SYCOB were also away winners in league combat on Saturday.

They ended Barking's unbeaten home record in Southern League Division One East with Adrian Sear's 80th minute headed goal earning them a 1-0 victory.

Goalkeeper Carl Tasker was the Rams hero with a string of fine saves and when he was beaten by Wayne Vaughan's shot, the woodwork came to his rescue.

Beaconsfield face Barton Rovers tonight.
