SPORTS clubs needing more money can benefit from a seminar being held next month.
The sports development team of South Buckinghamshire District is holding a seminar, Introduction to Funding for Sports Clubs, to help sports clubs in the area learn where and how to get funding.
The event is taking place on Thursday, October 13, in the council offices in Capswood, Oxford Road, Denham, and is covering topics such as maintenance grants, equipment renewal, grassroots projects and the financing of events to increase membership.
Councillor Shorne Tilby, portfolio holder for community, safety and leisure, said: "The council recognises the crucial role that funding provides for establishing and maintaining successful sports clubs and how these clubs can have a positive effect on local health and community spirit."
