FLACKWELL Heath have raised the bar on their expectations.

The Heathens moved two points clear at the top of Ryman League Division Two with a 3-2 win over Camberley on Saturday and manager Andy Driscoll wants his side to stay there now.

He said: "We're not interested in anything else, we want to win the league.

"Our target was to be in the top three by the end of the year.

"We're ahead of that and now we're at the top we want to stay there."

However, two more goals against underlines the fear that the Heathens do not have the defence to win the title.

Their 16 goals conceded in 11 league games gives them the worst record of the top five teams.

Driscoll is not worried: "You've got to take the rough with the smooth if you want to play entertaining football.

"We are scoring more goals than we are letting in and that's all you have to do in this game.

"And we can score goals from all over the pitch."

It's hard to argue with his logic. The Camberley victory was more 4-0 than 3-2 as Driscoll's team squandered gilt-edged chances while racing into a 3-0 lead.

Danny Burnell blazed over an unguarded net from six yards before Tristan Heywood did open their account with a header from James Suarez's cross.

Other chances fell to Lee Channell and Burnell again before Gordon Hill finally doubled the lead with a diving header after 57 minutes.

Just past the hour, Flackwell established what appeared to be an unassailable lead when Channell was on target to make it 3-0.

Suarez should have made it four but over-confidence allowed Camberley the life-line of goal in reply and the hosts barely had time to draw breath before it was 3-2 A grandstand finish was on the cards, but Flackwell upped the ante again and dominated to the final whistle.

A fourth consecutive win is on offer at Dorking today, when new signings Jack Heywood and Scott Chambers should both start.
