BUCKS U16s claimed the Southern Counties Championship after going through the season unbeaten.
They took the top honour despite coaches Richard Topsfield and Trevor Chandler only being appointed two weeks before the start of competition and the failure of several schools to put players forward.
They emerged from the first stage with victories over Hampshire and Berkshire before triumphing over Kent and Sussex.
Middlesex and Oxfordshire were next on their hitlist before Surrey held them to a 4-4 draw, a result which denied Bucks seven straight wins, but not the championship.
