BEN Jacobs has tipped former RGS star Jack Wallace for a long and successful Wasps career.

Jacobs stood in at full-back against Gloucester on Sunday as Wallace was inelligible.

Jacobs said: “He’s got great potential. Wasps are renowned for bringing players through their academy and I can see Jack definitely playing a big part in the Wasps future.

“He’s got great talent, he’s got great skill and pace and has a good knowledge of the game.

“One thing about these young blokes, sometimes you find it hard to get them motivated because there are so many distractions.

“But Jack is one of those guys always out there doing extra work, fine-tuning his game and learning from some really good players here.

“He made his debut in the LV Cup game and you can see that he’s got that temperament to be a really good player.

“He’s a really exciting prospect.”
