GREAT Marlow School followed up their six medals at the Marlow Town Regatta last week by beating the national champions on The River Thames.
The girls eights crew of Abbi Collingwood, Bethany Osborn, Elli Osborn, Sophia King, Philine Hamelink, Thereasa Jones, Ella Gilbert, Jannet Schrieber and Sarah Waterton saw off two teams from National Schools Champions Sir William Perkins Girls School.
Meanwhile, the J13 boys showed their strength in depth with first and second in the quads.
The A crew of Tom Newell, Fabrice Hammmerlindl, Bryn Lockwood, Marcus Macdonald and cox Jamie Tombour secured school bragging rights.
