WYCOMBE Phoenix AC star Pippa Woolven ran the race of her life last week.
She enjoyed a fantastic run in the 1500m final at the Aviva U20 National Championships in Bedford last Saturday.
Despite being still only 16, she had the race of her life in the U20 final to finish fifth from 13 finalists. She was in the leading pack until the last 150m, when senior international athletes showed their experience and burst through at the finish.
However, the experience will stand Woolven in great stead ahead of the 1,500m steeplechase in the English Schools Championships.
