WANDERERS starlet Matty Phillips has made the England U19 cut for the European U19 Championships taking place in France later this month.
Phillips spent four days on an England training camp last week, after which the provisional squad of 23 was cut to 18.
Speaking to the Blues' official website, manager Gary Waddock said: "
Blues' boss Gary Waddock was delighted for Phillips: "It's brilliant news. For him to go away to a training camp and be picked for the tournament is a great achievement, especially considering the players he was competing against.
"It's great for him and the club and I hope he gets a chance to impress."
Phillips will join up with the squad on July 12 before the first game against Austria on July 18.
