GOALS from Daniel Pacheco, Keko and Sergio Canales ended Matt Phillips' European dream as Spain beat England 3-1 this afternoon to book a place in Friday's European U19 Championship Final.
Phillips, who scored the goal that booked England's semi-final place, came on as a second half substitute for Noel Blake's side but the Wycombe Wanderers ace could not repeat his heroics from the previous game when he scored an injury-time equaliser against France to send England through.
Wanderers could now face a battle to keep hold of their 19-year-old assett though with Watford the latest club reported to be considering a bid for the Aylesbury-born winger who still has a year of his Adams Park contract to run.
