CHAIRGIRLS not Chairboys hit the TV screens after Wanderers fan Lana Hurford was chosen as the Soccer AM Soccerette.

The 18-year-old from Hayfield Drive, Hazlemere, showed off her tekkers on the popular Sky Sports show before Wanderers’ match with Accrington Stanley.

The former Sir William Ramsay school student, who hasn’t missed a Blues game home or away in three years, said: “It was a good opportunity to represent Wycombe on telly. It was great fun.

“People have come up to me at games and jokingly asked for my autograph.”

But things went wrong for the Kevin Betsy fan when, in a Wycombe Wanderers-themed Mastermind quiz, she failed to correctly answer the winger had made the most appearances for Blues so far this season.

She said: “I’ve had a lot of stick, it was quite embarrassing.”

And the trainee police officer – who is predicting tonight’s game at Chesterfield will finish 1-1 – hopes her team get promoted come May.

She said: “I’d like to think so. They always seem to mess up.”

Among the guests on the same edition of the show was former Chesham United striker DJ Campbell, now starring at Premiership surprise package Blackpool.
