AMERSHAM & Chiltern's chances of winning the South West 1 East title got a huge boost yesterday with Wycombe's shock home defeat to Witney.
The Kingsmead club lost 13-12 after a run of ten wins had taken them to the brink of promotion.
However, with two games left they now need results elsewhere to work for them to have any chance.
Amersham are now in pole position after a comfortable home win and are now four points adrift of leaders Maidenhead with a game in hand.
