Marvin McCoy in action at Morecambe in a display that saw him named in the League Two team of the week
MARVIN McCoy has been named in the League Two Team of the Week for his display in Wanderers’ win at Morecambe.
It’s the first time the full-back has made the weekly team after making 15th successive starts in Blues’ League Two matches.
The official Football League website praised him by saying: “A brace from Scott Rendell earned him the headlines but it was the contribution of McCoy from right-back that saw him picked out as the Chairboys’ star performer on Saturday afternoon.”
McCoy recently signed a new deal to keep him at Adams Park until 2013.
