Injured Pittman a doubt for Stockport clash
STRIKER Jon-Paul Pittman is a doubt for Wanderers’ game with Stockport County on Saturday after picking up a back strain in last night’s win over Chesham.
Tests show he has picked up a muscle strain after it was originally feared he had injured a rib towards the end of the 4-1 Berks and Bucks Senior Cup semi-final, a game in which Pittman scored twice.
Fellow frontman Ben Strevens is well enough to take his place in the squad for Stockport however after recovering from the throat infection that kept him out of the win at Morecambe at the weekend.
