Reader warning: we’re about to drop the C-bomb - Christmas.
That’s right, folks, the city is well and truly set for the most wonderful time of the year, despite the big day being two-and-a-half months away.
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has this afternoon shared an image onto its social media pages showing George Square
Even the good folk at the Chamber admitted in their post: “We know! It’s not even Hallowe’en and we’re already dropping the ‘C’ word... the Christmas festive lights are going up in George Square.”
The ballot for highly sought-after tickets for Glasgow’s Christmas lights switch-on event opened on October 2.
Organiser Glasgow Life confirmed a staggering 16,000 free tickets will be up for grabs.
