A 24-year-old Brixton man was driven two miles and abandoned after he had been shot in the head on New Year's Eve. He died of his injuries.
Police found the man, Solomon Martin, alone and suffering from a number of gunshot wounds at 7:30pm last Friday at Pilgrim Hill.
The London Ambulance Service tried to save him, but he died 30 minutes later.
Martin had been driven to Pilgrim Hill after a volley of shots was fired between two cars at Carolina Road, Thornton Heath.
Martin was sitting in the back of a silver Renault Clio when he was shot. Police are now appealing for two black men who were in the car with Mr. Martin to come forward.
No-one else was injured in the shooting, and police have not released a description of any suspects.
Anyone with information can call the incident room at Nightingale Lane on 020 8247 4553.
