Life without a beach, exploring High Wycombe and being a fan of Derby County.
It’s fair to say that Jasper Pattenden is getting to grips with his new life in Buckinghamshire, following his move from Non League Worthing last month.
A regular visitor to the city’s popular beach, he has swapped the sandy paths of East Sussex for the green hills that the Chilterns have got on offer.
We can confirm Jasper Pattenden has agreed terms to sign for Wycombe Wanderers of League One.

And even though settling into a new area to live will take time, the 20-year-old confirmed to the Bucks Free Press that he is loving life in the south of the county.
He exclusively said: “As a town, it’s great.
"I’m living up in High Wycombe so I’ve done some exploring by going to the Eden Centre, tried out a few good coffee places, I go into Marlow and I get this nice family-environment.
“People smile wherever you go, and I love that the fans are injected in the town and it’s a nice place to be.
“And with the football club, the moral and the vibe in the changing room is just phenomenal.

“Everyone wants to be the best for this team and everyone is encouraging one another and it’s been great.
"It’s been infectious and that’s been one of the best things I’ve experienced in my time with Wycombe so far.
Speaking on his targets with the Chairboys, Pattenden is aware that he was signed for the development squad, but with Anis Mehmeti and Chris Forino proving that certain players can make that jump into the first team, he hopes to follow in their footsteps.
He continued: “The ultimate goal is to play every game for the first team and if I didn’t set my goals that high I would be lying to myself, but, I completely understand how the team is set up and there are some really good players in this team and I know it’s not going to be easy."
New Wycombe signing Jasper Pattenden [@JasperPattenden] comes across so well in his first interview via WanderersTV. Has an air of confidence & experience that defies his age. Rejected Brighton player also out to prove a point after time with Worthing.

“But, I’m willing to work hard, I’m patient and we’ll see what happens.”
Finally, the winger revealed to the BFP what his three favourite places to visit in the area so far have been.
Favourite shop: Zara in the Eden Shopping Centre
Favourite place to eat: Fego in Marlow
Favourite place to relax: Walking in Medmenham along the River Thames next to the Dog & Badger
The season will start on July 30 at home against Burton Albion.
