Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the signing of full-back Kane Vincent-Young from Ipswich Town.

The 27-year-old joins the Chairboys on a permanent deal after helping the East Anglian side achieve promotion back to the Championship after a four-year stay in League One.

His arrival at Adams Park means he is the fifth new face to be signed by Matt Bloomfield, with Richard Keogh, Kian Breckin, Luke Leahy and Harry Boyes all joining respectively.

On signing Vincent-Young, who also had spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Banbury United and Colchester United, Bloomfield said: “Kane is a fantastic athlete and a really talented player in a number of positions, so I’m delighted he’s agreed to join us.

“He’s been training with us for a few days and settled in really well, and comes with a great pedigree from his time at Colchester and Ipswich, as well as a strong upbringing at Spurs.

“I think our fans will love seeing him play as a fast, direct and attacking player down either flank and I’m thrilled to bring in another superb new signing to add even more strength and quality to what we’ve already got.”

He will wear the number 17 shirt for the Chairboys, which was last worn by centre back, Daryl Horgan.
