An armed robber has struck at McColls store in Beaconsfield.
It happened at around 5.50pm yesterday when a man holding a hand gun offender entered the store in Penn Road and demanded that the member of staff empty the till and safe.
The staff member handed over a large quantity of cash and the offender exited the store.

The offender is described as a man, approximately 6ft tall. He was wearing a blue hooded top with the hood up, a white ice hockey mask, dark coloured trousers, light coloured trainers and thick black gloves. He was also wearing a black jacket with a hi-viz collar and strip around the waistband which had a white emblem on the left chest area.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Mark Banham, based at Amersham police station, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and thankfully they were not injured.
“I am appealing for witness to this incident, or anyone who believes they may have information about what happened to please come forward.
“I would also urge any motorists who have dash-cams and were in the local area around the time of the incident to check the footage in case it may have captured anything that could assist with our investigation."
