A giant film set has been built in Little Marlow that is rumoured to be for the new Star Wars TV series.

Built alongside the Spade Oak nature reserve the set includes dozens of houses, seemingly creating a galactic village for the filming of the show.

Next to the film set, there is a row of marquees expected to be used for dressing rooms, production facilities, and equipment.

The set can be seen in the ‘behind the scenes’ trailer for the TV show that has been titled ‘Star Wars: Andor’.

There has been a mixed reaction from local people but most have reacted positively to the building of the film set - particularly after an article by The Sun newspaper that said villagers were "furious".

A poll on Facebook that was filled out by nearby residents resulted in over 500 people voting they were not "enraged" by the set and were even excited at the possibility of bumping into a cast member.
