After looking at the best Indian and Chinese restaurants in Bucks, it only seemed right that we had a look at the best Indian establishments according to Trip Advisor.

Number 5: La Palma Italian Restaurant: Iver

Kicking off our list is the La Palma Italian Restaurant in Iver, and with their price range being from £10 to £30, you can see why they are ranked highly on the website.

With an average rating of 4.5 out of five from 330 reviews, the Church Road venue offer a wide variety of dishes which range from pizza to pasta to sea bass.

They also offer vegetarian friendly, vegan options and gluten free choices to those with special dietary requirements.

One person on the website said about La Palma: “Great restaurant.

"Food really good and not overpriced. Really extensive menu with something for everyone.

“Staff [are] really friendly and helpful.

“Good selection of wines.

“Would thoroughly recommend.”

Number 4: Da Luca: Marlow Bottom

It wasn’t going to be a surprise that a restaurant from Marlow would make it onto the list.

The Marlow Bottom establishment is ranked the number one best Italian restaurant out of the whole of Marlow, whilst also being regarded as the second best restaurant of any cuisine in the whole town.

And this is in the same place where Tom Kerridge has got a restaurant.

So, you know this is a must go to place.

The restaurant has got an average rating of 4.5 out of five on the website from 325 reviews, with one person saying: “Eaten here on numerous occasions with friends and I’ve always had great service and great food.

“Lovely family run business.

“You won’t be disappointed.”

If you haven’t been, try them out once lockdown has passed.

Number 3: Zaza: Old Amersham

A relatively new restaurant, Zaza replaced the outgoing Prezzo’s in 2019 but they have certainly made an impression with the locals, foodies, and anyone who loves Italian dishes.

The venue has got an average score of 4.5 out of five from 129 reviews, and are currently the number one Italian restaurant in Amersham on the website, whilst being ranked as third out of all the venues in the town.

And as well as Italian options, there will also be some other Mediterranean choices as well on their menu.

One reviewer said: “I’ve recently enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Zaza Lusso with my family.

“Our pasta was very tasty, the white wine was spot on and the atmosphere was pleasant.

“Very friendly manager (he has a beard and glasses) who attended us, always with a smile and especially very caring.

“I will definitely recommend!”

Number 2: Di Paolo: Gerrards Cross

With 717 reviews and with an average score of 4.5 out of five, you know Gerrard Cross’ Di Paolo mean business.

Ranked the number one Italian restaurant and the number restaurant of any cuisine in the whole town, it is no surprise that the Oak End Way venue are held in such high regard.

The staff are friendly to their customers, with their menu having a wide range of meals to choose from.

This reviewer said: “My first time at this restaurant and it definitely won't be the last.

“We went on a Thursday evening which offers a special fish set menu as well as the al a carte.

“The food was delicious, but the service was what made our evening so special.

“The staff couldn't do enough for us.

“Thank you so much for a lovely evening.”

Number 1: A Pizza This: Milton Keynes

Just like our Indian and Chinese run downs, a restaurant from Milton Keynes makes the list and in this case, A Pizza This (I do like a good pun), takes top spot.

With an incredible score of five out of five from just 123 reviews, the venue is known for its food options and quick and friendly service.

They also offer options for vegans.
