A home care company has issued activity booklets to its clients as the country continues to battle through the pandemic.

Home Instead - Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire, have delivered the guidance pamphlet to the over 60s and the wider community to help seniors to keep entertained and mentally active during isolation.

The free activity booklet contains a variety of puzzles, including word searches, riddles, sudokus, and a general knowledge quiz.

Lee Harrington, owner of Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire, said: “Although our caregivers have been there to provide companionship to our clients throughout lockdown, they noticed that many were missing their normal routines.

“Attending clubs and seeing their family and friends, and many were becoming fed-up of the limited activities they could do within their own home.

“We hope the activity booklets provide some light-hearted entertainment to those who may feel isolated, as well as bringing a smile to their faces.”

The booklet has been gratefully received by local sheltered housing associations, retirement homes, the Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust, Home Instead clients, and local contacts who are feeling lonely and isolated.
