Ryan Allsop has been spotted training with Derby County after being released by Wycombe Wanderers earlier this year.

The 29-year-old keeper was seen on RamsTV with Derby boss Wayne Rooney confirming that a number of new faces are training with the the club ahead of the new season.

Phil Jagielka, Richard Stearman, Curtis Davis and Andre Wisdom have also joined the former Chairboys stopper at Derby training.

Rooney revealed that he is hopeful that deals will be able to go through in the ‘near future’ after already speaking to players about joining the club in the summer.

Allsop has also been linked to Leyton Orient and Gillingham as the keeper looks for a new club.

He made over 100 appearances for Wycombe but lost his place in the team last season when David Stockdale came in and impressed.

The keeper was in his second stint at the club after having a loan spell during the 2015/16 season.
