A group of teenagers were seen to be running off after a toaster was thrown through a window.

The police have since received reports of the smashed window after the incident on West Street in Marlow at around 11:20 last night (July 19).

Nobody has been arrested but the police are urging anyone with information to step forward.

The property owners are also asking nearby residents for CCTV footage in a bid to identify the individuals responsible.

One resident has also said they heard "cheering" on the road around the time of the incident.

A spokesman for the police said: "Thames Valley Police received reports of a criminal damage incident in Marlow at approximately 11.20pm last night (19/7).

"A window of a property in West Street was damaged when an electric toaster was thrown through the window.

"A group of teenagers were then seen to run off".
